Fiberglass Beams FRP Beams – I Beam, H Beam, T Beam, U Beam, Wide Flange Beam Fiberglass beam is reinforced composite material consisting of continuous glass fiber yarn and resin, which are pulled by the thermal pultrusion moulding machine. The pultruded fiberglass beam retains high strength property of glass fiber. At the same time the coating resin enables the beam smooth surface, anti-corrosion, hard to crack or break, long-term performance compared to steel or aluminum sections. High strength light weight, the specific gravity of fiberglass beam is only 2/3 of aluminum, 1/4 – 1/5 of carbon steel. Therefore, fiberglass beams are substitute for metal beams.Our line of fiberglass profile shapes include angle, channel, beam, wide flange, tube, flat bar, flat sheet and corrugated sheet sections. The sections are offered in corrosion resistant vinyl ester or iso-polyester resin with UL Class 1 flame spread rating of 25 or less per ASTM E84.
