1、 Classification of pure titanium plate :
According to the impurity content, pure titanium plate is divided into high-purity titanium plate (purity up to 99.9%) and industrial pure titanium plate (purity up to 99.5%). There are four grades of industrial pure titanium plate , which are represented by Gr + sequence number numbers 1, 2 3 and 4 respectively. The larger the number, the lower the purity.
2、 Properties of pure titanium plate :
Ti:4.507 g/cm3,Tm:1688℃。 It has isomeric transformation and is close packed hexagonal structure at ≤ 882.5 ℃ α Phase, ≥ 882.5 ℃ BCC Structure β Phase.
Pure titanium plate has low strength, high specific strength, good plasticity, good low temperature toughness and high corrosion resistance. Titanium has good pressure machining performance and poor cutting performance. Titanium can burn when heated in nitrogen, so titanium should be protected by argon during heating and welding.
Material: GR1, Gr2, GR3, GR4
Executive Standards: ASTM b265, ASTM F 67
Other requirements: flat surface, bendable and stamping
Features: low density (4.51kg / m3), high melting point (1660 ℃), strong corrosion resistance, high specific strength and good plasticity
Production specification of pure titanium plate:
T 0.5-1.0mm x W1000mm x L 2000-4000mm
T 1.0-5.0mm x W1000-1500mm x L 2000-3500mm
T 5.0- 30mm x W1000-2500mm x L 3000-6000mm
T 30- 80mm x W1000mm x L 2000mm
Manufacturing process:
Hot forging is a forging process carried out above the recrystallization temperature of metal.
Hot rolling is a rolling process carried out at a temperature higher than the recrystallization temperature.
The cold rolling process in which the plastic deformation temperature is lower than the recovery temperature.
Annealing: a metal heat treatment process in which metal is slowly heated to a certain temperature, maintained for a sufficient time, and then cooled at an appropriate speed (usually slow cooling, sometimes controlled cooling).
Pickling: immerse the workpiece in an aqueous solution such as sulfuric acid to remove oxide and other films on the metal surface. It is the pretreatment or intermediate treatment of electroplating, enamel, rolling and other processes.
Application of pure titanium plate :
It is mainly used to manufacture petrochemical heat exchangers, reactors, ship parts, aircraft skins, etc. working at temperatures below 350 ℃.
