Product introduction.
Pure titanium rod means more than 99.5% of titanium,it has low strength, but high specific strength, good plasticity, good low temperature toughness and high corrosion resistance. Titanium has good pressure machining performance and poor cutting performance. Titanium can burn when heated in nitrogen, so titanium should be protected by argon during heating and welding.
Industrial pure titanium contains a large amount of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon and many other impurity elements (such as iron, silicon, etc.), which is essentially a titanium alloy with low alloy content.
Industrial pure titanium rod is divided into Gr1, Gr2,Gr3 and Gr4 according to its impurity content. The interstitial impurity elements of these three industrial pure titanium increase gradually, so their mechanical strength and hardness also increase step by step, but their plasticity and toughness decrease accordingly.
