Applications
Light duty serrated steel gratings find popular applications in walkways, operating plants, highways and bridge platforms and walkways, machinery floors, refineries, tank stairways and power plants.
Technical Notes
Serrated grating can also be made of stainless steel for specific applications.
Finishes can be galvanized or manufacturer's standard black paint at the discretion of the architect. It can also be painted by request.
Manufacturing tolerances:
Cross bar alignment and spacing
Cross bar shall not vary more than 1/8" in 12" either direction from perpendicular alignment with bearing bars.
Overall dimensions and squareness
Width is overall lengths of cross bars at opposite ends of panels.
