Barbaresco has always been considered Barolo’s ‘twin’, Barbaresco is produced entirely from Nebbiolo grapes: it is best when aged from five to ten years but may be even longer living.
The area of production includes the entire territory of the villages of Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive, plus part of the territory of the Alba municipality.

Ageing: in big oak barrels and barrique for 30 months, in bottle for 6 months
Cellar life: 10-15 years in optimum conditions
Tasting notes: the color of this wine is ruby red with garnet reflexes. The taste is fruity, and harmonic, with inkling of rose and ripe fruit. The taste is hot, dry and robust, with elegant hints of vanilla, after-taste of cherry and redcurrant.
Pairings: salumi, aged cheeses grilled meats, elaborate foods.
