We export the best and high quality Pineapples. The most important variety "Smooth Cayenne" is grown commercially in Kenya for both canning and the fresh market. Fresh pineapples destined for export are harvested green-ripe -beginning to turn yellow-green at the base of the fruit-. They are cut off with a sharp knife leaving a stem which is later trimmed to 3.4 cm. Fresh Succulent pineapples is our business, carefully packed and delivered to ensure you enjoy the rich taste and freshness of Kenyan pineapples. Pineapples are exported throughout the year and the demand is uniform the entire year.
Packaging Details:
The packing is done in 10 kg boxes or depending on the request of the customer. By each 40 cubic feet container, 20 pallets are sent containing 250 boxes making a total of 5520 boxes of 10 kg each. The boxes to be used comply with the necessary standards for export, are cold and weight resistant. Temperatures at 5 degrees Celsius. Humidity at 90 per cent. Ventilation should be 25 per cent
