PRODUCT DE WHEAT GLUTEN is produced by the separation from the carbohydrate component of wheat flour. It is the water insoluble complex protein fraction. It is typically a cream coloured, free-flowing powder. Wheat Gluten can be made into large granule of 350 micron and has appearance of sand grains. Wheat Gluten can also be extruded into pellets. In granules or pellets forms, it can be regrinded to form powder and used in forming aqua feed pellets. It retains it binding properties as well as its protein content. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS WHEAT GLUTEN can form a visco-elastic dough with strong film forming capability when fully hydrated. It rapidly absorbs water and when added to other materials bind them together.
