Ricotta Pastizzi

The cheese pastizzi consist of thin layers of crispy pastry folded in to form a diamond shape, with mildly-cheesy ricotta peeking out of the top. The cheese pastizzi are also known as ricotta cheesecakes.

Ingredients
Water, wheat flour, vegetable margarine, ricotta, semolina, eggs, salt and pepper.

Cooking Instructions

For best results cook from frozen. Pre heat oven to 220°c (gas mark 7) and place pastizzi on a baking tray in the upper half of the oven. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve as part of the morning breakfast or as a quick snack.
